05-01-08 THE PROPHECY
OF GOD IS FULFILLING BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES (How blessed
we are. Thank you Lord) (Rev 6:5,6)
And when he had opened the third seal [i.e., restrainer],
I heard the third beast say, Come and see [Can you not yet
see this??]. And I beheld, and lo a black horse [horses
are symbols of power in the Bible: oil: black gold to those who
have it]; and he that sat on him [controlling
the reins, the Muslim (death to all infidels) oil cartel in collusion
with American big oil interests (greed), spared for a time to serve Muslim
interests] had a pair of balances [scales]
in his hand [in his possession, in his power, showing complete
control of prices and distribution]. And I heard
a voice in the midst of the four beasts say [the consequences that follow
from the former circumstances], A measure
[quart] of wheat for a penny [equivalent
to a whole day’s wages], and three measures
[quarts] of barley for a penny;
and see thou hurt not [take of] the oil
and the wine. God bless you dear
brothers and sisters. Yep, we are deep into it now. The first four seals of
Revelation chapter six correspond to what is commonly known as the coming of
“The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.” In the original New Testament Greek
text of the Bible, the English word “Revelation” is rendered
“Apocalypse.” Apocalypse has the meaning of “to take off the cover,
disclose, and reveal.” Please note that preceding the appearance of each of
the four horses (only) are the words “Come and see.” Each horse is a cause
and in turn has an effect. Quite briefly, the highest of the symbolic
meanings of the horses of the first four seals, The Four Horsemen of the
Apocalypse, are sequentially, causatively, naturally, spiritually, and logically
the white horse of “strong delusion” (2 Thes 2:11), which leads to the
red horse of war, which leads to the black horse of famine, which
leads to the pale horse of Death. We may herein parenthetically and most
happily note that with the last horse of Death, “Hell followed with him” for
the unsaved only, that is. That peculiar differentiation of salvation is
also according to Bible scripture wherein born-again boys and girls don’t have
go to Hell, but we do get to go to Heaven (John 3:3; Romans 10:9,10). J Praise the Lord! Strong
delusion leads to war which leads to famine which leads to death.
In real-time application, this cause and effect order makes perfect sense to me,
and should to you too as one considers the world-wide consequences or effects of
each horse. In our last two monthly
newsletters, we have been observing, with no small trepidation, the opening of
the third seal in Revelation chapter six, which prophecies the onset of
world-wide famine. Suffice to say that even a cursory look at the
abundance of collaborating evidence now being presented by the national and
international news media will substantiate that prophecy. However, the following
news article seems to be particularly pertinent to our extensive Rescue Mission
food distribution operation relating to the 420,000 loaves of bread (it is
starting to get personal now) that we freely gave away last year to
thousands of hungry residents all over Pinellas County. This article is
derived from MoneyNews.com dated April 24, 2008 entitled Wheat Crop Failure,
with my brackets, underlining, and boldface: On
top of record-breaking rice prices and corn [prices]
through the roof [based] on ethanol
demand, wheat is now rusting in the fields across Africa. Officials fear
near total crop losses, and the fungus, known as Ug99, is spreading. Wheat
prices have been soaring this week on top of already high prices, and
futures contracts spiked, too, on panic buying. Experts fear the cost of
bread could soon follow the path of rice, the price [of which] has triggered riots in some countries [including Haiti, Egypt,
Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Ethiopia, Uzbekistan, Yemen, the Philippines,
Thailand, Indonesia, and Italy] and prompted
countries to cut off exports. A dozen countries were
cited in a St. Petersburg Times newspaper article on April 16, 2008 entitled U.N.
experts warn of food crisis as experiencing “violent protests”
over food pricing that “has resulted in dozens of deaths.” The
article continues: Wheat
prices have risen by 130 percent since March 2007 and soy prices 87 percent, the
United Nations said, with food now representing 60 to 80 percent of consumer
spending in developing countries. In general, the World Bank has said food
prices have climbed about 83 percent worldwide over the past three years. The
United States has been criticized for pressing for the use of biofuels,
especially corn-based ethanol, as a way to reduce oil consumption and to
keep the corn prices high for farmers. But the prices that please farmers
are causing shortages in basic grains used for food in the developing
world. For a moment, please try
to imagine your emotional state of mind if you were living in a developing
country, and were so poor that you were being priced out of the
food market for you and your family. Would you become “violent”
if your kids were starving to death? Well, the biblical prophecy is that it is
going to get kind of personal for you too, real soon. Yes, but
what shall we do? Well Gomer Pyle says:
SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE! I ain’t agonna tell ya…, cause…, golly
gee whiz, ya already know! And me? Why I’m agoin’ afishin’ whiles
they’s still abiting. Ya’all come on down, and toss in a line… it just
don’t get no better than this. J With your gracious help,
thus far this year, we have enjoyed over 100 salvations destined for the eternal
Kingdom of Heaven, and fed thousands of real hungry poor folks. Maybe Gomer is
right, “it just don’t get no better than this.” Thank you Lord Jesus
Christ. God bless you dear brothers and sisters. Sincerely,
